APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY
Appointment availability is subject to scheduling. We strive to provide online doctor consultations with minimal waiting times, often on the same day. However, please note that appointment requests are handled during our opening hours only.
We offer medical assistance and guidance on treatment pathways for all health issues, but we are not an emergency service or a response service for medical emergencies. If you need to see a doctor immediately, it is necessary to contact the appropriate services, such as the Accident & Emergency department (A&E) or call the emergency healthcare number 999/111.
MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Cancellation policy applicable to general appointments extend to membership appointments. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment will result in the full fee being charged, or forfeiture of entitlement to one free consultation, unless a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is provided to cancel or reschedule. Subsequent appointments cannot be booked until all outstanding fees, including those for missed appointments, treatments and services have been settled.
CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP
You are allowed to cancel your membership within the first 14 days of the Membership Plan, starting from the Membership Start Date (referred to as the “Cooling Off Period”). If you choose to cancel during this time, any services, tests, diagnostics, and treatments you have used must be paid for at the standard list price. After the Cooling Off Period, membership cannot be terminated within the first 12 months and thereafter requires one month’ written notice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
STETH & DERM SCOPE LTD (“Italian GP London”, the “Clinic”)
1. Interpretation
1.1 Definitions:
1.1.1 “Opening hours” : Our business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
1.1.2 “Company” means STETH & DERM SCOPE LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales under company registration number 12614852 and having its registered office at Ramsay House, 18 Vera Avenue, London, N21 1RA.
1.1.3 “Contract” indicates the agreement between the Company and the Customer concerning Membership, as outlined in the Membership Application Form and these Terms and Conditions.
1.1.4 “Cancellation Date” denotes the termination date following the one-month notice period required pursuant to clause 8.5.
1.1.5 “Cooling Off Period” signifies the initial 14 days of the Membership Plan starting from the Membership Start Date.
1.1.6 “Fees” refer to any payments that the Member is required to make to the Company.
1.1.7 “Member” denotes an individual enrolled in one of the Membership Plans.
1.1.8 “Membership” refers to any form of membership plan offered by the Clinic, each constituting a distinct Membership Plan.
1.1.9 “Membership Application Form” denotes the application form completed by a Member to apply for membership of the Clinic.
1.1.10 “Membership Payments” indicate the monthly Fees payable concerning a Membership Plan.
1.1.11 “Membership Schedule” signifies the prevailing membership schedule of the Company, delineating the various types of Membership Plans available, the services included, and the associated fees.
1.1.12 “Membership Start Date” refers to the initiation date of a Member’s membership as specified on the Membership Application Form.
1.1.13 “Terms and Conditions” encompass the stipulations outlined in this document, subject to amendments as deemed necessary by the Company.
2. Membership
2.1 By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the Member acknowledges the obligation to remit the Fees and abide by the stipulations herein. The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, or supplement these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
2.2 The services provided under each Membership Plan are delineated in the Membership Schedule, which is accessible upon request from the Clinic at any time.
2.3 Each Member may hold only one type of Membership at any given time. Changes to Membership type are permissible, provided they adhere to the terms stipulated herein. However, alterations resulting in a reduction in payable fees are prohibited within the initial 12 months of Membership.
2.4 The Company retains the discretion to decline Membership applications at its sole discretion.
2.5 The Clinic reserves the right to suspend or revoke a Member’s Membership if deemed necessary due to breaches of fair usage.
2.6 No treatments or services included within a Membership schedule may be carried over into subsequent Membership years.
3. Payments
3.1 Monthly membership fees, as outlined in the Membership Schedule, are payable by the Member for the relevant Membership.
3.2 The Company reserves the right to modify the charges specified in the Membership Schedule at its discretion.
3.3 All Membership Plans necessitate payment via direct debit, requiring completion of a direct debit mandate before acceptance. Certain banks and building societies may not accept direct debit instructions for specific accounts.
3.4 Membership Payments are to be made monthly in advance via direct debit, except for the initial Membership Payment, which is due on the Membership Start Date.
3.5 All Membership Plans are subject to an annual price increase.
3.6 For Members opting for monthly Membership Payments, subsequent payments (excluding the first) will be debited on or around the monthly anniversary of the Membership Start Date.
3.7 A £20 administration fee will be levied for rejected monthly direct debit charges. Additionally, overdue payments will incur interest at a rate of 4% above HSBC’s base rate from the due date until receipt by the Company. The Member is liable for all expenses and legal costs incurred by the Company in recovering overdue amounts, and during periods of account arrears, appointment bookings and services may be withheld.
3.8 A comprehensive price list of treatments not covered by the Membership Plan is available upon request at any time.
4. Missed Appointments
4.1 Failure to attend a scheduled appointment will result in the full fee being charged, or forfeiture of one free consultation entitlement as per the membership schedule, unless cancellation or rescheduling occurs at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
4.2 Subsequent appointments may not be booked until all outstanding fees, including those for missed appointments, treatments, and services, have been settled.
4.3 Consultations or services not included in the Membership schedule necessitate full payment at the time of booking, based on standard list prices.
5. Liability of the Clinic
5.1 The Clinic’s liability is not limited or excluded for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be restricted or excluded by applicable law.
5.2 Except as explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions, all warranties, conditions, and other terms, whether implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded from the Contract to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5.3 The Clinic shall not be liable to the Member for loss of profits, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, except where prohibited by law.
5.4 Subject to the preceding clauses, the Clinic’s total liability to the Member shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Member for the Membership.
5.5 The Company assumes no liability for damage or loss to personal property brought onto Clinic premises by Members or their guests.
5.6 This provision shall survive the termination or expiry of the Member’s Membership.
6. Opening Hours
6.1 Clinic opening hours are determined by the Company and are subject to change without prior notice.
7. Data Protection
7.1 In order to provide Members with health advice and support, the Company retains data concerning Members’ identity, contact details, and general health. By signing the Membership Application Form, Members expressly consent to the Company retaining this data for the duration of their Membership and up to two years thereafter, or for a reasonable period following the completion of the Membership application to assist in providing optimal services.
7.2 Signing the Membership Application Form does not affect Members’ rights under the Data Protection Act 1998.
7.3 The Company’s privacy policy, incorporated herein by reference, governs the processing of personal data collected from Members. A copy of the privacy policy is available on the Company’s website and upon request.
8. Cancellation of Membership
8.1 A Member may cancel their Membership within the first 14 days of the Membership Plan starting from the Membership Start Date (“Cooling Off Period”).
8.2 Cancellation during the Cooling Off Period necessitates full payment for services, tests, diagnostics, and treatments utilized at standard prices.
8.3 Membership may not be cancelled within the initial 12 months, and thereafter requires one month written notice.
8.4 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@italiangplondon.com
8.5 The one-month notice period commences upon receipt of the written cancellation notification. The Clinic will confirm receipt within ten days.
8.6 Failure to receive confirmation within ten days requires immediate notification to the Clinic, as it remains the Member’s responsibility to ensure receipt of cancellation communications.
8.7 All outstanding Fees must be settled prior to Membership termination.
8.8 If a Member receives healthscreen services in the first year of membership and subsequently wishes to cancel before the subsequent 12-month Membership period, these services will be payable at list prices.
8.9 The Clinic reserves the right to cancel any membership plan with 30 days’ notice, and without notice in cases of aggressive, abusive, or disruptive conduct from any Member towards Clinic staff.
9. No Waiver
No failure or delay by either party in exercising any of its rights under the Contract shall constitute a waiver of that right, nor shall any waiver of any breach be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach.
10. Entire Agreement
10.1 The Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties, supplanting all prior agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations, and understandings.
10.2 Each party agrees that no statement, representation, assurance, or warranty not expressly set out in the Contract shall be deemed applicable, and no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or misstatement shall arise based on any statement not contained herein.
10.3 Nothing in this clause shall limit or exclude liability for fraud.
11. Severance
If any provision or part-provision of the Contract is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to render it valid, legal, and enforceable. If modification is not feasible, the provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the Contract.
12. Third-Party Rights
No third party shall have rights to enforce any terms of the Contract.
13. Governing Law
The Contract and any disputes or claims arising from or related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
14. Jurisdiction
Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales regarding any disputes arising from or related to the Contract.
